Practice Manager ToryGrowing up in a small town, Tory wasn’t sure what career she wanted to pursue. Out of the blue, she decided to join the Animal Health Care Clinic team as a receptionist in 2012. She worked her way up to veterinary technician and then hospital manager and is now proud to say that she can do it all. Tory believes that a life without animals wouldn’t be a life at all. She feels so blessed to find her calling.

 

 

Amanda Jackson, CVTAmanda is Lead Surgical Technician at Animal Health Care Clinic. She has been a certified veterinary technician for many, many years and more to come. Amanda lives life with her husband, her 3-year-old daughter, and their four-legged friends. If you bring in your pets for any type of surgery, you will see Amanda, who is always here to help!

 

 

Veterinary Technician MicaelaMicaela joined the Animal Health Care Clinic team in 2014. Her job requires knowledge of all the departments so she can assist wherever she is needed most. At home, Micaela has a cocker spaniel named Gypsy and a cat called Goose. Her pets get along great together!

 

 

 

Shannon Stickney, CVTShannon grew up in Oregon and graduated from Brown Mackie College in Idaho to become a certified veterinary technician. She started her career at a small animal emergency and rehabilitation hospital in Idaho. In fall of 2015, she moved to Florida. When not working, Shannon enjoys exploring and volunteering with exotics or wildlife.

 

 

Victoria has been a veterinary technician for 5 years and has been certified for almost a year. She has two dogs, Matilda and Astro, and a cat named Bentley. When not working, Victoria enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, and watching football.

Veterinary Technician KristinaYou will hear her called 'Tina' around the hospital, but she answers the phone as 'Kristina.' Since March 2012, Kristina has been a veterinary technician, receptionist and a volunteer coordinator at Animal Health Care Clinic. She attended the Tarpon Springs High School Veterinary Academy, where she became a certified veterinary assistant (CVA).

When not at work, Kristina is either at St. Petersburg College where she is majoring in biology, going for a jog, or just hanging out with her miniature dachshund Edison.

 

Veterinary Technician NicoleNicole has worked at Animal Health Care Clinic for about two years. She started out as a receptionist and worked her way up to veterinary technician. Nicole has a Labrador Retriever named Dean, a Chiweenie named Delilah, and two cats, Seven and Sebastian. Along with her furry friends, she has a bearded dragon name Puff-Daddy!

 

 

Veterinary Technician Priyanka with DogPriyanka entered into the veterinary field after graduating with a certificate from the Academy of Animal Arts in 2005. Since then, she has continued to increase her knowledge through experience, self-study and attending several continuing education seminars.

Priyanka currently has two cats, and is looking forward to adopting her first dog. During her free time, she enjoys going to fun community events, watching movies, and working out.

 

Veterinary Technician Leanne with DogLeanne is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Florida in 2010 to attend the University of Tampa and pursue a dream working with a large range of animals. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2012.

Leanne has a Lab-Hound mix puppy named Clay that she adopted from Suncoast Animal League. Her favorite aspect of working at Animal Health Care Clinic is providing affordable surgeries to better service animals in need.

 

Veterinary Receptionist Lisa with Dog ChiLisa is currently a receptionist at Animal Health Care Clinic, but is training to become a veterinary technician. There's a lot of hard work that goes into being a veterinary technician, but we see the compassion and love that she has for each and every furry friend that walks through our door and we know that she will be a great asset! Lisa has four dogs of her own which are all Chihuahuas and Chiweenies.

 

 

Originally from Upstate New York, Shanin moved to South Carolina for college. After graduation, she started her career in veterinary medicine. Shortly after moving to Florida to be close to family, she began working at Animal Health Care Clinic. Shanin has a 6-year-old English bulldog and a two cats.

Veterinary Receptionist RachelBorn and raised in Florida, Rachel has loved animals and working with them for as long as she can remember. She is due to enter the veterinary technology program at St. Petersburg College in the fall of 2017 and couldn't be more excited.

At home, Rachel has a small menagerie of animals that include her "big boy" Dalmatian, Charlie, her rescued black bob-tail cat, Lucille, and her beautiful ball python snake, Matilda. Between her pets and school, Rachel is very busy, but her passion for animals and medicine is thriving. She looks forward to meeting you and your precious pets soon!
