Dr. Tiffany Bogart
Dr. Tiffany Bogart is another graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 1992, Dr. Bogart moved to the Tampa area from New Jersey and opened a successful practice in Palm Harbor.
After establishing her practice as one of the premier hospitals in the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Bogart sold the practice to focus on her primary passion of shelter medicine and spay and neuter programs. Today, Dr. Bogart is one of our top surgeons and successfully performs a large number of spays and neuters each week. There is no substitute for experience, and Dr. Bogart has a bunch.
When not at work, Dr. Bogart can be found on the golf course, or of course, on the GULF!
Dr. Danesi
A 1987 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Danesi began her career as a large animal vet visiting farms in New York. After a few years she discovered a keen interest in emergency medicine, from which her passion for small animal medicine was borne. Today, Dr. Danesi exemplifies the high quality of care we expect, and we are proud to have her practice with us at AHCC.
In addition to her VMD degree, she also has a Master’s Degree in Animal Nutrition from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College.
When not in the office, Dr. Danesi can often be found with her horse Roxey. She also has two dogs, Stella and Finn, and a cat, Stanley.
Dr. Haeussner
Dr. Haeussner earned his DVM degree from the University of Florida. After graduation, Dr. Haeussner furthered his education by completing a rigorous one year internship in emergency medicine and advanced specialty care at Florida Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Haeussner has worked in the Tampa Bay area since 1998. His interests include small animal and exotic pet medicine.
Dr. Haeussner and his wife are both native Floridians with numerous extended family members in the area. They live in Palm Harbor with their two daughters, a dog named Zero, a cat named Jitterbugs, and two bunnies named Ben and Jerry.
In his almost non-existent free time, Dr. Haeussner enjoys spending time with his wife and children, exercising, researching family history, and watching the Gators.
Dr. Sandra Yosha
Dr. Sandra Yosha has been a small animal veterinarian in private practice since graduating from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Prior to attending Tufts, Dr. Yosha studied Marine Biology at Woods Hole, Massachusetts and earned a B.S in Biology from Indiana University, an M.S. in Marine Biology from Florida Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Animal Sciences (fish physiology) and continued working in endocrinology at U. Miami School of Medicine and UMass where she was a post-doctoral fellow. We wanted to have business cards printed for Dr. Yosha, but there are too many letters after her name!
Interestingly, Dr. Yosha pioneered the use of common veterinary skills (xray, ultrasound, diagnostic tests, anesthesia, surgery, etc) to treat privately owned fish, particularly koi and goldfish. Her skills have allowed to her lecture around the world and she has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers.
Her pets at home include a large dog and two cats. Dr. Yosha has a daughter wo will be graduating from medical school this year, and a son who is studying physics and self sustaining crop production at Colorado State University. We fully expect both children to follow in their Mother’s footsteps and spend another 10-12 years in school. We hope so, because as long as they are in school, Dr. Yosha has to keep working☺
When not at work, Dr. Yosha enjoys theater, dancing, music, travel and karaoke. Needless to say your pets are in the most capable hands with Dr. Yosha.
